Happy last day of January !

Well today has started off a little better than yesterday and I've actually got 2 more jewellery sets on the website.  Not sure how successful gemstones will be on the website as it's soooooooo hard to photograph them well enough to do them justice !

Anyway, here's a quick look for you bloggers at the new sets.  Hope you like them x

"To Do List" - an update !

Oops - I think I failed miserably yesterday as I didn't get round to doing very much housework and didn't go shopping !

Ah well, today has been better as I sent my lovely husband to the supermarket and I offered to do the ironing whilst he was gone.  That sounded like a good deal to me until 2 hours later I still hadn't finished the damn ironing.  It took almost 3 hours to do it and at the last count there were 27 shirts done !  The joys of having both husband and son wearing 2 shirts some days (no they don't smell that much; just one for daytime and then another if we go out at night lol)

So that's ironing and food shopping ticked off the list.

I won't bore you all with the rest of the To Do List but let's just say it's growing faster than I care to mention !  Am off to blitz the lounge now and then I'll probably collapse in there with a nice bottle of wine to recover - purely medicinal you understand !

Today's "To Do List"

Well it's looking like it's not going to be a relaxing Saturday for me - AGAIN !

1.  Been to the garage to pick up my dad's car after taking it for a service for him 'cos he's worrying about it whilst he's in hospital.

2.  Checked for sales on the website and dealt with those.

3.  Photographed some new jewellery ready to go on the website - not sure when that'll get done but fingers crossed for later on today.

4.  De-iced my car ready for the hospital run later on.

5. Finished off a jewellery set for a customer order - it's only 2 days late so that's pretty good huh ?

Now on to the things that I haven't yet done that should have been !

1.  Housework - ah well  now, that's not been done yet as I'm too busy blogging away so I guess that box won't get ticked off as 'done' until at least tomorrow - lol.

2.  Shopping - no, not enjoyable shopping like clothes and beads but horrible food shopping - that's probably going to get done after the hospital run so hopefully I can tick that one later.

Oh dear - the list is endless..........................

oops - I'm late posting today !

or should I just say that I missed posting yesterday since it's now after midnight :-)

Anyway, haven't really got a lot to blog about today other than I've been trying to sort out my website revamp AGAIN !  It's really taking for ever but I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.

Not really made a lot of jewellery today either but have been at the design board so hopefully will have some new pieces to show you all in the next day or so.  Am thinking about actually taking a weekend off from the jewellery making this weekend and getting some quality time with my husband and son for a change.  Fingers crossed that works out as it doesn't usually :-(

Will try to post something a little more interesting tomorrow (well today really lol)

Starting to find my way around here now.

I've managed to put some blurb in at the top of the page, add a few piccies of some of my jewellery, and put a link to the website on there as well :-)  Not bad for a complete novice at this I guess !

Some things I thought you may be interested in.

I had some of my jewellery featured on a jewellery making programme on the TV again yesterday - that's about 4 of them since Christmas so I guess I must be doing something right with the jewellery making hee hee.

Had a busy day today what with setting up this blog, trying to do the next stage of re-vamping the website, picking up my son from school, and now just about to go and visit my father who's ill in hospital and has been for the past 2 weeks.  Not that I'm complaining, but it is a 40 mile round trip and it gets rather tiring having to do it every day.  Ah well, get well soon Dad :-)

Start of my new 'Blog'

Well here we are - I've finally taken the plunge and decided I CAN BLOG :-)

Haven't really got  a clue what I'm doing here so for today I'll just have a little look around and see what's what on the blog setups and stuff.

Was going to have a guiet lazy day today but it doesn't sem to be happening that way !
